Your task is to apply skills and demonstrate competency in academic writing. The marks will reflect the ability to write an academic essay and marks will be weighted towards your format, structure, flow, writing style and referencing. The content of the assignment will also be marked. Be sure to review the marking rubric  to understand the purpose of this assignment.

You will demonstrate your competency by writing a 1000 word academic essay, which includes an introduction, 3 paragraphs, each on its own given topic, and a conclusion. You will also be required to reference as per the UNE APA referencing system.
