The Task:
Compare and discuss NIKE and Lorna Jane (active wear industry).
You will need to address the following aspects in your report:
- A description of the various channels within each organisation
- A rating of the strengths and weaknesses of (both organisations’ channels) based on industry research and theory from text and relevant lectures.
- The strategic roles and comparisons of these channels in both organisations’ marketing mix
- The integration of traditional and non traditional formats (ie. physical & virtual stores) The conclusion will consist of advice/recommendations for a (fictitious) new entrant to the relevant industry, which is clearly based on the above analysis (again in the same or similar industry to the organisations being profiled above)
