Abstract

Small hotels in Hong Kongare less inclined to train their workers because of a number of reasons that are cost-related or time-related. Although there is evidence indicating that organisational training and development strategies bring forth enormous advantages, this appears to be invalid on account of small hotels. Clearly, the interest of SMEs in training programs appears to be less than to large organisations. Without a doubt, SME proprietors largely believe that training provides little advantages to the business, managers, and the workforce.
