‘Sexting’ has become increasingly common among young people and has been enabled by the popularity of smartphones; yet, where the person in the image is under 18, issues surrounding the creation and dissemination of child pornography are raised. Is sexting merely a part of our digital generations’ courting process, or should legislation reflect societal concerns?
