Description of Assessment
Students are to complete an essay response to the following question relating to group based learning and develop an appropriate group based learning task suitable for stage 1 (SACE) of their subject.
Essay topic:
“Group based learning should be a fundamental component of Accounting, Economics and Business and Enterprise subjects taught at stage 1 level.”
Discuss with reference to observations during your placements and academic research the extent to which you believe this statement is accurate.

GROUP TASK RELATED TO SUBJECT
Appropriately formatted and presented group task suitable for content at stage 1 level. It is expected that the task be fully explained (so as to enable another teacher to teach the task) and relevant materials included. This does not need to be a full lesson task/activity but should be for a period no shorter than 15 minutes.
