What is an annotated bibliography
What is an annotated bibliography?
An annotated bibliography is a summary of the resources used in researching a question or issue.
Bibliography =”a list of books”
annotated = with notes added
Each entry in the bibliography is a short description which informs the reader what a particular text is about by summarising the main information or ideas. Usually each summary is followed by comment or critique on the text.
If you are asked to prepare an annotated bibliography you will need to research and read some sources on a particular topic or issue before compiling the list in alphabetical order.
