GUIDELINES AND BACKGROUND TO THIS ASSIGNMENT

Task One

In the form of a mini (1750 words) literature review, evaluate an aspect/issue within women’s entrepreneurship. The review can discuss issues such as: the factors that push women to start their own business (both push and pull factors), the profile of entrepreneurial females (educational background, lifestyle), the differences of their status in different countries (both developed and developing countries). You are only allowed to go above or below this word count by 10% otherwise marks may be deducted. Marks will be awarded as follows:

• ORIGINS / DEFINITIONS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP (10%)
• EVALUATE KEY LITERATURE WITHIN 1 AREA OF FEMALE ENT. (50%)
• DISCUSS FUTURE TRENDS FROM LITERATURE (20%)
• USE OF REFERENCES & RESEARCH (10%)
• STRUCTURE, STYLE, PRESENTATION, LANGUAGE (10%)
